Our dress is crafted from cotton poplin which is hand batik-printed by artisans in India. The technique consists of wax being applied to the surface of the fabric before it is dyed, and then removed after it has dried to leave a resist pattern behind, naturally varying from piece to piece. Shaped with dropped gathered sleeves and finished with coordinating fabric-covered buttons and rouleau loops.

A traditional technique of patterning cloth by painting or printing a wax or mud resist onto the fabric prior to dyeing. Variations and unevenness are characteristic of this process.

Regular fit. Length: Lower calf. Sleeves: 3/4 length.
Front length from side neck point for a size 8 is 123cm.
